ACTIVE AGEING for the
ELDERLY with Intellectual Disabilities
The involvement of elderly people with intellectual disabilities (ID) in activities that improve both their health and their emotional well-being, entails specifically designed practices and policies to identify and eliminate the barriers that hinder their ability to participate in a full form in society.
why?
This project was born from the need to address the fact that people with intellectual disabilities (ID) are getting older and that there is currently no specific training in Vocational Training (VET) to care for them.
