ni\u00f1os con discapacidad intelectual (DI) se convertir\u00edan en adolescentes y en adultos con DI, pero nunca pensamos que alg\u00fan d\u00eda tambi\u00e9n se convertir\u00edan en personas mayores con DI, seguramente porque su esperanza de vida siempre ha sido menor a la de la poblaci\u00f3n general. Los investigadores est\u00e1n notando que el proceso de envejecimiento para las personas con DI difiere de forma notable del proceso de envejecimiento de las personas con edad similar, por lo tanto, es necesario ajustar el cuidado y las necesidades que reciben y as\u00ed adaptarlo a sus propias caracter\u00edsticas y necesidades.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Nuestra prioridad es mejorar la calidad de la FP, ofreciendo al profesorado y a los profesionales de este campo la oportunidad de formarse en el marco de la atenci\u00f3n a las personas mayores con discapacidad intelectual, para que los conocimientos adquiridos puedan ser trasladados al class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>El proyecto tiene como objetivos:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas mayores con discapacidad intelectual, mediante la elaboraci\u00f3n de un rastreo que indique con claridad qu\u00e9 tipo de caracter\u00edsticas y necesidades bio-psico-sociales tienen.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Identificar las competencias t\u00e9cnicas que son necesarias para el profesorado de FP vinculado al colectivo, al igual que para los profesionales que se dedican al cuidado directo de las personas mayores con DI, con el fin de mejorar su formaci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dise\u00f1ar un plan de estudios FP para los profesionales de servicios a la comunidad y atenci\u00f3n social de la salud asi como para los profesionales que se dedican a la atenci\u00f3n directa al colectivo de personas mayores con DI, con contenido de calidad que contribuya a mejorar la formaci\u00f3n del profesorado de FP<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Desarrollar una formaci\u00f3n online de la mayor calidad posible, adaptada a las necesidades de los profesores y profesionales que trabajan en el ambito de la atenci\u00f3n integral al colectivo de las personas mayores con
